Day 2 | 30 December

Join us for an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Arctic, where our experienced mushers share their deep passion for this unique lifestyle. Embrace the opportunity to lead your own team of enthusiastic huskies through breathtaking Arctic landscapes, experiencing firsthand the serene beauty of untouched nature. Along the way, marvel at stunning vistas and the possibility of encountering local wildlife in their natural habitat. This adventure is more than just a ride; it’s a glimpse into the soul of the Arctic, guided by those who call it home.

Begin your adventure with a warm BBQ meal beside the fire in a snug tipi near our lodge. After dinner, we’ll take a comfortable minivan ride along the peaceful roads of Lapland, heading to the optimal spots for Northern Lights viewing.

This experience combines the thrill of seeing the aurora borealis with the chance to learn about the phenomenon and the unique environment of Lapland. Gear up for an extraordinary evening under the stars, witnessing the natural wonder of the Northern Lights.

Day 3 | 31 December

Experience Our Sami Culture and Reindeer Adventure.
Join us for a morning adventure with Håkan, a Sami native, and his reindeer in a traditional village.

Together, we’ll explore the enduring traditions and lifestyle of the Sami people. The highlight is a one-hour reindeer sled ride across the enchanting winter landscape, followed by a communal lunch by the fire, reflecting the Sami’s strong community ties.

Experience the northern lights from the top of Mt. Ednamvarri with 360-degree views

As the evening approaches, prepare for an enchanted evening at the lodge, leading to a breathtaking adventure atop Mt. Ednamvarri. Our journey commences with an exhilarating snowmobile ride, guiding us to unparalleled panoramic vistas of the Abisko Alps under the evening sky.

Throughout this magical excursion, our guide will capture memorable snapshots, ensuring your experiences are immortalized. As we return to the lodge around 21:00, a welcoming crackle from the fire in our exquisite tipi awaits you. Here, Team-Alex takes you on a culinary odyssey, presenting a five-course feast that encapsulates the essence of Lapland.

The highlight of our evening is the New Year’s celebration, where we gather to watch the sky illuminate with fireworks, enjoying the spectacle with a backdrop of Kiruna, viewed from the local ski mountain. This isn’t just an outing; it’s an immersion into the heart of Arctic beauty and celebration, marking the beginning of a new year amidst nature’s most spectacular show.

Day 4 | 1 January

ICEHOTEL
We begin the day at the world-renowned ICEHOTEL, a unique work of art built entirely from snow and ice, alongside the innovative ICEHOTEL 365. Here awaits a world of enchanting Art Suites, each one created by international artists, where every room tells its own story. The experience is elevated in the sculpted Ice Bar, where we enjoy a cocktail served in crystal-clear ice glasses.

Aurora Chase
As darkness settles over Kiruna’s dramatic landscapes, we set out on an Aurora Chase. By snowmobile or minivan, we travel through the silent night, surrounded by vast wilderness and stillness. Far from the city lights, the sky opens up and we are given the chance to witness the Northern Lights in their full splendor – a moment that will feel both grand and deeply special.

Dinner Together
Back at the hotel, we round off the day with a well-prepared dinner. Around the table we gather – the same group that has shared all these experiences together: laughter, adventure, and quiet moments. In the warmth of this togetherness, it feels as if we are not only ending a journey, but also carrying with us memories and perhaps even friendships that may last far beyond the Arctic.

Day 5 | 2 January

The final day begins with breakfast at the hotel, before it is time to say farewell to the Arctic. With hearts full of memories, magical experiences from the wilderness, and new connections, the journey comes to an end but the impressions and feelings will remain long after returning home.
